At a sneak-preview screening of the new "Meet the Mormons" vignettes, SPARK had the fun opportunity to sing the song Glorious, by David Archuleta. We also had the pleasure of meeting the families featured in the films "The Craftsman" and "The Horseman," as well as the writer and director, Blair Treu, and film narrator, Jenna Kim Jones.
The new (and final) films have been added to the "Meet the Mormons" franchise and are premiering Saturday, February 3rd at LDS Church visitors' centers and historic sites.
Quoting director Blair Treu, “Our hope is that the franchise continues to draw people to Temple Square and visitors’ centers, but the primary goal is that it continues to dispel common misconceptions that people have about us. As people get to know us a bit better, they get to feel, ‘Hey these people aren’t so bad. They’re not so scary. They’re just like me. They have shortcomings just like me and they’re searching for happiness just like me.’" Click here to see Deseret News article.
